Counseling, Substance Abuse, Behavioral & Mental Health
Through comprehensive counseling, education and treatment involving family and loved ones, Baptist offers an escape from depression and substance abuse, and offers a healing refuge from the effects of other emotional problems. We understand the decision to seek help is sometimes difficult. Baptist is dedicated to assisting with this critical first step by offering a free, confidential assessment to best determine the appropriate level of care.
Adolescent Behavioral Health Services
Growing up can be a difficult experience. Unfortunately, some teens are faced with situations that may lead to drinking, drug abuse and even thoughts of suicide. The extensive Baptist system provides counseling and treatment services to adolescents and their families within their own community. For adolescents who are experiencing emotional, behavioral or psychological problems that require daily structure, our adolescent programs offer day treatment, which allows the child to return home at night. We can also bring speakers and educational programs to your community.
Adult Behavioral Health Services
Workplace stress. Marital problems. Drug abuse. While many problems can be addressed on an outpatient basis, Baptist also offers a partial hospitalization program in several locations to accommodate individual schedules and minimize interruption of employment and family life. Our more intensive inpatient programs provide a safe environment for individuals to assume a greater level of responsibility and help them regain control of their lives.
Senior Behavioral Health Services
As we grow older, we face new challenges: the loss of a spouse, chronic illness and changes in our roles. When those changes overwhelm, senior adults may experience difficulty sleeping, changes in appetite, lost interest in activities and a pervasive sense of sadness. When that occurs, select Baptist facilities offer a supportive environment in which seniors can begin healing.
Business Behavioral Health Services
Baptist provides several options for identifying and treating emotional and substance abuse problems within your company's workforce. Initial assessments are provided at no charge, and follow-up treatments may include counseling, intensive outpatient services (individual or group therapy), partial hospitalization or inpatient treatment. All employees completing inpatient treatment are entitled to a free year of aftercare. Baptist also offers an extensive speakers bureau and in-service training program for interested organizations.
CONCERN Employee Assistance Program
CONCERN is an employee assistance program where you can get confidential, cost-free problem-solving help for marital and family relationships, alcohol or drugs, grief, gambling, elder care and financial problems. This resource is funded by your employer to provide assistance to you and your household members.
